We are partnering with the nonprofit work to volunteer at the Pittsburgh marathons! See the details and signup info below 👇
Sign-up? Yes, everyone registers through the official P3R link so we can track the group and send thank-you emails afterward. Here it is:

Location: The cheer station is at East Liberty Boulevard after turn from Frankstown Avenue (Kingsley Association) (East Liberty; Approx. Mile 18.8). Street closures do start early on race day, so we recommend carpooling and parking in a nearby neighborhood as it'll be about a 2 to 3 block walk in. We'll send along the official street closure map from P3R once it's posted in the next few weeks.
About WORK: We're a nonprofit that supports families internationally. Our mission is to accompany families in Haiti and beyond out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. We fundraise through endurance events like the Pittsburgh Marathon by having athletes run on our behalf, and the cheer station is how we bring community support to the race.
What to expect: Mainly cheering on runners and helping hand out fluids at the aid station. The volunteer window is 8AM to 12 PM, though we're working on setting up sub-shifts so your group doesn't have to commit to the full block. We'll also have snacks for all volunteers!
